He was so sure of his own lie that he had to come up with another the next time I came in. He described the case as red and having a dragon on the cover of it (FFIII for his Super Famicom). “I think it was a limited edition.”

    I don’t think it was a lie. The original FFIII in the US was for the Super Famicom. It was actually numbered VI in the Japanese numbering system. The numbering system was changed later, according to Wikipedia at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Final_Fantasy_VI.

    Looking at the box art (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:FF3_USA.jpg), you could easily describe it as “red and having a dragon on the cover of it” if you didn’t know that moogles aren’t dragons.

    Actually, I’m talking about the Japanese FF III – not the US III. The Japanese FF III was on the Famicom.
