I have been gaming since my father bought us kids one of the first Pong home systems and have owned almost all of the major consoles (SNES, Genesis with 32x, Sega CD, Dreamcast, N64, XBOX, XBOX360, PS1, PS2, GameCube) and handhelds (Gameboys of all flavors, Turbo Express, Game Gear, Lynx) I do not have the PS3, Wii and NeoGeo and I never leave the house without my DS Lite.

Why no NES or Sega Master System? I was busy playing games on the Commodore 64, and then the Commodore Amiga during the NES era. 🙂

I’ve been buying games for the better part of my life and have spent my fair share of time and money inside many different types of videogame stores. I have seen the fall of the Mom and Pop game stores where you could count on someone you knew, by name, to “keep an eye out” for that one hard to find game. I have seen the rise of the pushy sales people and different employees every time you go in the store. I don’t like it.

Large chain stores are never your friend! Who’s watching your back?
